Honoring the History of a Dynamic 1940s Era Neighborhood

Lowe is developing this multi-phased, multifamily community in the 30-acre Yesler Terrace, a mixed-income, transit-oriented, master-planned community currently being redeveloped under the guidance of the Seattle Housing Authority and the City of Seattle. The 1940s-era Yesler Terrace includes a mix of public and private developments delivering housing, office space and a host of neighborhood amenities, in the heart of Seattle’s First Hill.

The Mason and Main community will include 550 residences. 26.5% of them affordable with an 80% AMI,  in two nine-story buildings with views of downtown Seattle, Mount Rainier and the Cascade Mountains, 6,800 square feet of retail shops and a community pocket park connecting the new community to the existing neighborhood. The new community is designed to enhance the neighborhood while honoring its unique, diverse identity and history. The property is designed to meet LEED Gold certification standards.
