Classically Modern, Casually Elegant
Lowe and partner National Real Estate Advisors developed this one-of-a-kind 12-story, 195-unit luxury apartment tower. With a distinctive curved glass curtain wall façade, The Hepburn was designed to complement the iconic architecture of the neighboring Washington Hilton, which Lowe and a partner acquired in 2007. Lowe saw an opportunity to reconfigure the Hilton property to bring new residences to the vibrant, growing Kalorama/Dupont Circle neighborhood. After receiving approval from the Historic Preservation Review Board and waiting for economic conditions to improve, Lowe proceeded with the project in 2014.
The residences feature floor-to-ceiling windows, open floor plans, high-end finishes and terraces that provide panoramic views of the city. Thoughtful consideration was given to the hand-selected list of services offered at the Hepburn, including a custom wine bar with temperature conditioned wine lockers, a grand library, pet spa and fitness center with private training areas. With unparalleled views of the Capital Skyline, the rooftop has become the building’s premier gathering place with outdoor fireplaces, a reflecting pool with a cascading waterfall, private cabanas, outdoor grills and an entertainment area. From wine and art consultation to personal shopping, The Hepburn offers residents an extensive range of luxury services and amenities and an in-house lifestyle director to facilitate access to conveniences.
