Joy is responsible for project management efforts for FF&E, building signage, fitness equipment, and art installations for Seattle area development projects. She works with the interior design, marketing and property management teams to assist in creating cohesive and well-positioned projects. She is also responsible for consultant contracts, and works with our accounting team to arrange monthly project draws. She previously worked for Alliance Residential and Trammel Crow Residential as Contract Administrator on the development of 1,306 multifamily units and 45,500 square feet of retail space. She is an active member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Seattle, a member of the Seattle Downtown Association, and a notary. Joy enjoys golfing and road trips.
Jeff directs all development and construction management activities for multifamily, mixed-use, resort community and new hospitality projects. He has been involved with the development and construction of more than 15 million square feet of real estate projects of all types. He was previously Vice President of Construction for Watt Industries and Ahmanson Commercial Development. He is a licensed General Contractor in the State of Calif. Juan manages development projects in the greater San Diego area. He is currently involved in Lowe’s ongoing development of the award winning San Diego County Operations Center. With 23 years of experience working on projects throughout the Western US, Juan has managed a variety of projects including new construction and renovation of retail, institutional and office buildings totaling nearly 7 million square feet and valued at $1 billion. Kurubel is responsible for project management and development functions for Concord Communities, Lowe’s wholly-owned affordable housing subsidiary. Kurubel has over 20 years of Retail, Office and Multifamily commercial real estate experience. Edward leads construction management of commercial and multifamily projects in the Pacific Northwest. He recently oversaw the development and construction of the Luma condominium high rise in Seattle. He previously managed hotel and renovation projects for Lowe including the renovation of Motif, Royal Palms, Mile North and The Woodmark and the development of the 6,300 acre Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum WA. He previously served as Preconstruction Manager for Charter Construction and Project Manager for both Mortenson Construction and Hensel Phelps Construction. Melanie oversees and directs financial management, financial reporting and related policies, systems and processes for all Lowe’s business units. She is responsible for Lowe’s annual financial audit and coordinates corporate budgets and forecasts. Melanie has over twenty years of accounting experience in the real estate industry and five years of other accounting experience. Previously, she was the Assistant Controller for Lowe Destination Development and a Corporate Accountant for Dick Clark Productions. Dan is responsible for Lowe’s hospitality, master planned resort communities and commercial development and investment activities in the southeast U.S. and Caribbean and leads Lowe’s Southeast regional office in Charleston. He is involved in all aspects of development including sourcing projects, securing entitlements, sales and marketing and transitioning projects from development to operations. While with Lowe he has been involved in development projects totaling $800 million. Dan is active in the American Heart Association and served as the Chairman of the Executive Leadership Team for the 2021 Lowcountry Heart Walk. Dan is also a member of the Trident CEO Council and serves on the Board of Directors for the SC Aquarium and Explore Charleston. Marty leads Lowe’s Los Angeles commercial activities, identifying and overseeing opportunities in the greater LA Basin. In this role he is responsible for Lowe’s ongoing commercial property acquisition activities, targeting properties that can be repositioned through operational and/or physical improvements. He also oversees the company’s office property operations subsidiary, Hospitality at Work. Erik is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing residential acquisitions in the Central U.S. He currently serves as Project Manager for a 2043-acre master planned community in Castle Rock, Colorado. Prior to Lowe, Erik was an Associate at JPMorgan Private Bank. He is a member of ULI and was selected to participate in the ULI NEXT program. Erik is a sports enthusiast and avid skier. In the winter, Erik dedicates much of his free time volunteering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled and Children’s Hospital of Colorado ski programs. With over 20 years of development and construction experience, Tom manages development and pre-development throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining Lowe, Tom was a Director at Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company where he worked on over 3.5 million square feet of commercial office and R&D construction projects and managed the company-wide “Green Team”, focusing on sustainable design and construction practices. He is a LEED accredited professional. Tom enjoys designing, engineering, and building a wide range of home improvement projects such as a complete bathroom reconfiguration and remodel and a new elevated deck. Bill has a leadership role with the firm’s equity and debt capital raising efforts. Previously, Bill has held senior positions with: Merrill Lynch, where he led the west coast real estate investment banking group; Barrow Street Capital (national opportunity fund manager), where he was President; LandCap Partners (national residential land investment business), where he was Chief Investment and Financial Officer; and Genton Property Group (Southern California creative office and multi-family developer) acting as President and Chief Investment Officer. Ralph oversees the operations, community relations, and finance activities of Concord Communities, Lowe’s affordable housing subsidiary formed to direct the firm’s real estate expertise toward easing the U.S. affordable housing shortage. Concord operates 720-units in Baltimore and the District of Columbia and is active from Baltimore, Maryland to Charlotte, North Carolina. Ralph previously provided project team leadership for developments in the Washington, DC area including the 700,000-square-foot build-to-suit development of the National Science Foundation Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Ralph is active in the Metro DC Boys and Girls clubs contributing to fund raising efforts and facility improvement projects. Ralph and his family enjoy travel and exercise. Tom is responsible for business development and project management for resort projects in the desert area of California. He served as COO for development of The Reserve Club in Indian Wells and Stone Eagle in Palm Desert. Previously, Tom was Vice President/Managing Director for Rancho La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta. Prior to that he served as Vice President/Sales and Marketing for the Desert Horizons Country Club community in Indian Wells. Tom has also done extensive land entitlement work. In his free time, he enjoys a competitive round of golf and traveling with his family. Chris has executive responsibility for all financial management functions. He oversees accounting, cash management, financial reporting, financial analysis, income taxes and risk management. He previously handled financial management and oversight of hotel, resort and resort community development projects. Jim oversees community development management and advisory services for mixed-use properties and planned communities in the U.S. and abroad, currently focusing on Rocky Mountain area projects. He has served as a Court- appointed Receiver for troubled real estate domestically and internationally and is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia and Colorado. A Life Trustee and former Vice Chairman of ULI, a past National Director of the National Association of Homebuilders, and a former Director of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Jim served as an advisor to the Secretary of the Navy and to the Secretary of Defense on military housing, energy use and other real estate matters. John leads Lowe’s legal group, which provides advice and compliance services to Lowe and its subsidiaries. A former member of the business and finance practice of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, John advises Lowe on its business activities, regulatory compliance, employment relations and dispute resolution matters. He is an active member of the Real Property and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of California and the Association of Corporate Counsel. John is a supporter of the arts, and organizations advancing civil liberties and criminal justice. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Pepperdine University School of Law.
Jann oversees public relations and corporate level marketing. She is involved in brand positioning, collateral development, website and online presence and content, business development and communications, including Lowe’s semi-annual newsletter. She also manages Lowe’s media relations, maintaining press materials and working with third party public relations support to coordinate news activities and media inquiries. Jann enjoys travel, especially exploring new destinations, as well as weekend visits to California’s wine regions. She was honored to receive the 2017 Bob Weekley Spirit of Lowe award. She studied at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley and Mesa College, Grand Junction, with extended studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mara leads Lowe’s property operations, investment and management activities in the Central U.S. including Colorado, Illinois and Texas. Since joining Lowe, Mara has worked on over 35 assets in the Central region totaling approximately 11 million square feet, with values of over $1.3 billion. Previously, Mara was a financial services analyst for Cushman & Wakefield and was director of acquisitions/ business development for HealthSouth Corporation. She is a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and a licensed real estate broker in Colorado. Previously, Daisy was responsible for commercial development management in Northern California, with a focus on entitlements. Seeing the development cycle from acquisition, to master planning, entitlements, design, leasing and disposition has benefited Daisy as she pivoted to operations, where she can understand both the possibilities and limitations in properties, in order to increase their value. Additionally, he previously worked for a DC-based real estate developer and international general contractor based in Charlotte, NC. This diverse experience encompasses projects ranging from office, retail, multifamily to special projects including a US Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Paul has development and construction management responsibilities for projects located in Northern California, with expertise in urban mixed use, residential and commercial properties. His primary focus will be expanding Lowe’s multifamily properties in the Bay area through the construction of mid-rise and high-rise buildings. Through his seventeen years of construction experience, Paul has worked with such firms as Webcor Builders, Build Group and Trumark Urban Development. Amie is a member of the project management team for Lowe’s Southeast office and is currently responsible for The Cooper Hotel in Charleston, SC. Amie has over twenty years of experience in commercial project management, with a focused expertise in large scale complex projects. She began her commercial project management career at Lowe, starting at Wild Dunes Resort, before transferring to the Stowe Mountain Lodge project. Amie also spent ten years working for a top ENR 400 General Contractor in New England, where she lead teams to complete many notable projects in Northern Vermont. Amie is a native of Charleston and in her free time enjoys learning new things, reading, all things nature, giving back to her community and spending time with her family and friends.
Leonard is primarily involved in corporate and property financings and has closed more than $1 billion of financing transactions. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller for Lowe, responsible for financial management functions including accounting, cash management, financial reporting and income taxes. Prior to joining Lowe, he was an audit manager with Ernst & Young LLP and Kenneth Leventhal & Company. He also worked for The Ratkovich Company in their finance and accounting group. Jacob is responsible for development entitlement and master planning activities in the Southeast region. He currently sits on the board of directors for Green & Healthy, Inc., a non-profit that supports the development of healthy outdoor spaces in and around the Charleston Medical District. Todd leads entitlement, design and construction for Lowe in Southern California, currently leading the redevelopment of the 950-room Town & County Resort in Mission Hills. He has played a primary role in some of Lowe’s most successful projects including Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes and the San Diego County Operations Center. Previously, Todd was with Design Workshop in Jackson Hole, designing and entitling complex mixed-use and hospitality developments. Todd sits on the NAIOP San Diego Board of Directors and Kearny Mesa Planning Group. Over his 30+ year career, he has developed expertise in all aspects of retail real estate. He recently led Rockwood’s retail property investment business, overseeing all strategy, development, acquisitions, leasing, management, and dispositions. Previously he was with BlackRock; was SVP for California Pizza Kitchen, responsible for managing national expansion; and oversaw leasing, development, management, marketing, and portfolio management of properties in the west for Madison Marquette.

Mike leads Lowe’s Western region commercial property development, investment and management activities and is a member of Lowe’s Executive Committee. He oversees Lowe’s investments in Denver, Seattle, Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. He is responsible for $2 billion of current development projects and 1.5 million square feet of commercial properties managed. Kristi oversees Lowe’s Risk Management Department and has over 22 years of experience in the industry. She has served in all functions of the department including, underwriting, policy placement, loss control, claims management and contract negotiations. Kristi provides risk management services across all Lowe’s business units, including property management, hospitality management and construction. Prior to joining Lowe, Kristi worked in the accounting department at Dick Clark Productions. As a Southern California native, Kristi enjoys the warm weather and most weekends are spent on the sidelines of a soccer field cheering her kids on.
Suzi is responsible for Pacific Northwest commercial property development, investment and management activities, and leads Lowe’s national multifamily platform. She has over 20 years as a senior level development professional responsible for over 4,000 multifamily units and more than 1 million square feet of commercial project development and leasing in the Seattle and Portland areas. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the Northwest chapter’s Multifamily Product Council, and is an International Advisory Board member of the Real Estate Center at the University of Colorado’s LEED Business School. Mark is responsible for design and construction activities for all projects in metro Washington, DC and throughout the east coast. He also supports business development teams in pursuing new investment and development opportunities. While with Lowe he has been involved with all of the company’s residential, mixed-use, and commercial office development projects. A resident of the greater Washington, DC/ Baltimore area, Mark and his family enjoy taking in all of the outdoor activities that this region has to offer. John is responsible for project management in the Washington DC area. He has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and has developed a deep understanding of the process required to bring a project from concept to completion. While working as an Architect, John spent a great deal of time in construction administration with his larger projects being design build efforts. His skill for solving complex problems, keeping design intent in mind, all while working to control costs has contributed to the success of his projects. As a former Infantry Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, John knows that building a strong teamwork spirit with all members of the project team is fundamental to success in construction. John is also passionate about woodworking and all things automotive. Education: Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Bachelor of Architecture.
Sam is involved in all aspects of the development projects in the Southeast from sourcing and acquisitions to entitlements and development. Prior to joining Lowe, he worked in hospitality operations for several years in Charleston, including at Lowe’s property at Wild Dunes Resort. He resides in the Charleston area with his wife and three children. In his leisure time he enjoys cooking , working on home renovation projects, and spending time with his family in the great outdoors. Education: The College of Charleston, BA.
Vy is responsible for development and construction activities in Northern California. Previously, she worked in asset management at AIG Global Real Estate, focused on distressed assets throughout the United States, and prior to AIG, she worked as an architectural designer for various Bay Area architectural firms. Vy is a LEED Green Associate and a member of ULI. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and traveling. As a member of the corporate marketing team, Martin is involved with brand development, brand positioning, web, and social media presence and communications. He is also responsible for developing ideas and coordinating with executives companywide on a variety of internal and external business development and marketing collateral to ensure brand fidelity. He was honored to receive the 2020 Bob Weekley Spirit of Lowe award. Martin enjoys traveling with his family, art and all occasions when his native Argentine national soccer team steps onto the pitch or his beloved Los Angeles Kings hit the ice. Rob is responsible for entitlement, design and construction activities for projects throughout the Orange County and San Diego County areas of Southern California. Rob also supports business development teams in pursuing new investment and development opportunities. He has been involved with the construction and development of residential, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial projects. He is a member of ULI, NAIOP, and the United States Green Building Council, the current Chair of the Orange County Office and Commercial Local Product Council, and holds a California General Building Contractor License and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Mark oversees all of Lowe’s Eastern Region commercial activities, including acquisitions, development and management. With “hands-on” involvement, Mark has completed many large and complex projects as significant place-making developments along with several adaptive reuse developments including the NSF Headquarters, multiple office-to-residential conversions, the renovation and expansion of the historic Washington Hilton Hotel, the development of the $245 million CityVista mixed-use project and the redevelopment of the historic Randall School property in Washington, DC. Mark also leads Concord Communities, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lowe, and its efforts to be part of the solution to our nation’s affordable housing shortage. Previously, Mr. Rivers was Chief Operating Officer of a national development management firm where he was responsible for all aspects of the operating business and served as program and account manager for major clients. Projects completed include multiple large-scale life science and pharma buildings, mission critical facilities, and corporate campuses. Education: University of Virginia, BA
Andy is responsible for new business development, deal structuring, and overseeing JV capital relationships. He works across Lowe’s investment platforms, which include real estate-related operating businesses and value-add, opportunistic, and ground-up development for hotel, resort, residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Andy has helped the company source, structure, entitle, implement and/or capitalize over $4 billion of projects. Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children as well as playing basketball.
Shirli leads design and development services for CoralTree Hospitality Group. Her wealth of experience includes more than 30 years of involvement with both high-end interior architectural design and project management. She works with owners and property teams on hotel planning and development, and plays a key role in business development where she creates programs, visions and budgets for potential acquisitions and then advises on implementation of the chosen strategy/direction/repositioning. Working on projects ranging from small hotel renovations to comprehensive repositioning to ground up hotels, Shirli has touched all hospitality project types. Education: University of Cincinnati. Colin leads project management activities for current projects and assists in analyzing future pipeline opportunities. Over the past 13 years he has served as Development/ Construction Manager for Alliance Residential and as a Project Manager for CBRE, GLY Construction, and Burnstead Homes. David oversees commercial construction activities in the Western U.S. He has been involved with the construction and development of over 3.5 million square feet of residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial projects. A member of Lowe’s corporate finance department, Anne is focused on special projects involving GAAP basis financial analysis and reporting for commercial real estate. She is a CPA, with over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry across a range of property types. Prior to her current role at Lowe, she held management roles in the parent company and hospitality subsidiary of the company, directing the financial audit and reporting process for corporate, joint venture, investor and property level entities. Prior to joining Lowe, she served in various accounting management positions in both public accounting and private industry. Anne is an avid reader, and enjoys mountain biking and hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains. Education: University of California at Los Angeles, BA.
T.J. leads the Colorado operations of Hospitality at Work, Lowe’s hospitality-inspired commercial property management platform, as well as the Company’s building engineering and brokerage operations in Denver, CO. Throughout his career, T.J. has been involved in the investment, development, management, financing, and disposition of over $1 billion worth of commercial real estate. Prior to Lowe, T.J. was the President of RISE Commercial, a leading CRE service provider based in Denver, CO (Lowe acquired RISE in 2019). Earlier in his career, T.J. served as the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Baron Properties.
Based in Denver, T.J. and his family can often be found cruising down one of Colorado’s famous ski hills. Education: Colorado State University. B.A. in Economics.
Jeff is a member of the project management team for Lowe and played a key role in the most recent capital improvements at Wild Dunes Resort. Called to action by the events on September 11th, he attended the Naval Academy and subsequently served 5 years as an infantry officer in the Marine Corps with 2 all-expenses-paid vacations to Afghanistan. Transitioning in 2013 to construction, he spent 5 years as a superintendent for Pulte Homes in the D.C. area before joining the commercial world in New York. In 2020, he began working for Lowe’s Charleston office as a construction management contractor before joining full time in 2022. Jeff grew up in New Hampshire with a love for hockey and the United States. He and his beautiful wife Rachel, also an Afghanistan veteran, have 4 children and reside on Johns Island. Matt oversees the company’s hospitality and resort development and investment activities. Matt also has responsibility for the company’s resort residential sales and marketing and is a member of Lowe’s Executive Committee. Previously, he was an architect in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He is a past Chair of the Urban Land Institute Recreation Council. Matt has taught real estate development at UCLA. He has been a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster and a frequent coach. Julie brings more than 30 years of human resources experience to Lowe and CoralTree Hospitality’s People Services. She was Vice President of People Services for the East Region for Two Roads Hospitality/Destination Hotels for two years before transitioning to the CoralTree team. She has represented both individual hotels and multiple properties along the East Coast including Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, S.C. and The Homestead. She also worked for Anheuser Busch – Busch Entertainment and ClubCorp. Julie is a member of the California Association of Hotel and Lodging, Women in Lodging and Guardian Ad Litem in Tampa, Florida.
