Lowe's First Hospitality Development Project
Lowe’s first development project, The Gant, was one of the first resort condominium hotels in the country. Offering a distinct collection of one- to four-bedroom floorplans, the individually owned units are offered as vacation rentals when not in use by owners.
Upon completion of the first phase of the property, Lowe sought a hospitality management company for the project but was unable to locate a firm that was versed in this unique property type. Consequently, Lowe decided to establish its own management company to oversee property operations, and thus entered the vacation rental management business with the forming of Destination Hotels & Resorts.
Located in the heart of Aspen, The Gant is within walking distance to the historic downtown and the base of Aspen Mountain. An onsite concierge is available to owners and guests, with a fleet of Gant Vans, now a well-known sight around town, offering complimentary airport and town transportation.
Lowe continued to manage The Gant until the sale of its hospitality management company, then known as Two Roads Hospitality, in 2018.
