Bringing World Class Service to Premier East Coast Ski Destination

Lowe was retained by AIG in 1997 to provide master planning and development management services in conjunction with the Stowe Mountain Resort base village expansion project. In 2003, Lowe was selected through a national RFP process to serve as the developer and operator of the Lodge at Spruce Peak (formerly Stowe Mountain Lodge), a $280 million condominium hotel that would be the foundation of a ten-year mountain redevelopment project focused on establishing Stowe as the pre-eminent ski area in the East with quality and services levels rivaling the premier areas in the West. The ski in/ski out property, located at the Spruce Peak base of Stowe Mountain Resort, was developed in two phases. Lowe formed strategic partnerships to provide patrons with top quality, location appropriate retailers and service providers, including Orvis, Ralph Lauren and Mercedes and partnered with the renowned Cooper Institute on operation of the wellness center and spa. Owners and guests alike can enjoy the year round beauty and amenities the Lodge and the region have to offer.  This enjoyment is facilitated by the property’s Alpine Concierge guest services program which prides itself on an unsurpassed level of customized service and personalized attention. The Lodge at Spruce Peak consistently ranks among the top hotels in the country and was voted among the “best in the world” by readers of Conde’ Nast Traveler.  Lowe sold its minority interest in the property in 2021.
