Lushly Landscaped Urban Office Campus

Lowe was selected by Arden Realty, a Los Angeles-based REIT, to develop 1.4 million square feet of commercial space at the Howard Hughes Center, strategically located at the southern boundary of the desirable West Los Angeles area. Lowe developed four Class A office buildings, along with infrastructure and 20 acres of landscaped walkways, patios and plazas. Lowe revised the site plan, programmed the product and phasing, directed all consultants and architects, and selected and managed a third party general contractor through design, bidding and construction. The buildings were completed between 1998 and 2002. Among Lowe’s assignments was a 160,000 square foot build-to-suit property for Univision Television Group’s broadcasting studios.
The center also includes an entertainment complex with a 17 screen movie theater, health club, restaurants and shops.
