Phoenix Area Build to Suit Corporate Campus
Lowe master planned and processed entitlements the 26-acre Chandler Commons Office Park, a suburban office campus consisting of four office buildings connected by a central landscaped entry park. Phase 1, consisting of two 2-story office buildings totaling 150,000 square feet, was completed in 2002 and purchased by Countrywide Homes Loans to serve as its Phoenix campus. Countrywide then wanted to expand and engaged Lowe to develop the remaining 16 acres of the site, with two additional 3-story office buildings totaling 350,000 square feet and a 5-level parking structure. The campus also contains a 19,000 square foot cafeteria, 6,000 square foot fitness center, and a 6,000 square foot central courtyard. The completed project provided Countrywide with a corporate campus for over 3,000 employees.
