Class A in Mission Bay
A state-of-the-art office building developed on a site that was fully entitled and partially constructed with completed foundation and slab when acquired, allowing Lowe to quickly deliver space to a tightening market. The property was the first new office building developed in the Mission Bay area since the tech crash in the early 2000s. The six-story building, clad in brick and glass, features innovative sustainable design with a raised floor system, energy efficient cooling systems, and sustainable recyclable building materials. 500 Terry Francois offers ground floor retail space, views that stretch from the Bay to the City to the hills, a park adjacent to the property and rapid transit within blocks. The building plaza is adorned by the work of award winning sculptor Richard Deutsch who created the 48 foot stainless steel sculpture ‘Hulls” in tribute to the remarkable ship building history of Mission Bay. 500 Terry Francois was completed on time and on budget, and sold in the summer of 2008.
